Every project is different depending on size, materials, and site conditions. However, most decks and docks are priced by square footage and typically run between $20 to $40 for total square footage.

Most deck projects take 1 to 2 weeks once work begins. Dock projects may take longer around 2 to 4 weeks depending on water access, pilings, and complexity of the dock. 

Wood decking should be pressure washed regularly and sealed or stained every few years to extend its life. Composite material requires less maintenance but still benefits from occasional pressure washing. 

We typically recommend presure treated decking, marine-grade decking, or composite decking depending on the project and budget. Pressure-treated decking is the most affordable, on the other hand composites while more costly, offer lower maintenance and durability over time. 

In many areas, permits are required for new construction. We can guide you through the permitting process and make sure everything is built to local code.
